As Investors in startup businesses, Les Briney and Kathe Kline looked for a website that would help small business owners grow their businesses while protecting their interests. California is a state that has a large number of small businesses, but small business owners also take a lot of risk in California as a result of many of the laws that have been implemented here.

We decided to start a website that would present a forum for small and medium sized business owners to gain new insights while sharing information with each other.

We are hoping that by allowing you to discuss among yourselves the obstacles and ideas to help overcome them.

Kathe and Les live in San Diego, CA. Both are very active in the small business community. Les is a retired Engineering Executive/Technologist and UCSD Connect volunteer, and Kathe is a SCORE Counselor specializing in small businesses and their owners.
